Narrative:Following a loss of engine power, the aircraft, an experimental Challenger II, impacted trees and terrain shortly after takeoff from Punta Gorda Airport (KPGD) in Punta Gorda, Florida. The airplane sustained substantial damage and the sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.
