Narrative:VT-CJA Consul c/n 5197 ex RAF Oxford NM523 [original c/n 3691; registered with c/n 910] C of A issued 20.3.47. Registered in 3.47 to Airways [India] Ltd.
Written off (destroyed) when Struck telegraph wires across the Brahmaputra River and crashed near Pandu, Assam. Both persons on board - pilot Captain Karve and engineer - were killed.
