Narrative:
The glider pilot attended the International Military Gliding Competition at Holzdorf. It was missing at the end of the competion day. A police helicopter found the wreck of the glider during the following night on a field near Rabenstein/Fläming. The 46 year old pilot was found dead in the glider.

Conclusions:
The aircraft accident was most likely due to not starting the outlanding in a timely manner and not flying an appropriate landing pattern with a stabilized final approach, resulting in ground contact with the left wing and subsequent impact of the fuselage nose with the ground.
