Narrative:
de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth; built by OGMA (Oficinas Gerais de Material Aeronautico) as MSN P.31 (the 31st of 91 built) for the Portuguese Army Air Force. Sold off and civil registered in Portugal as CS-AFE 8.59 to Aero Clube de Costa Verde, Espinho

Written off (damaged beyond repair) 3.10.59 when crashed from an altitude of 150 meters after engine failure and burned/destroyed by fire. Both crew on board - Pilot António da Silva Alves (aged 24) and Venancio Henriques Guimarães (aged 22) - were killed.

Registration CS-AFE formally cancelled 31.12.62 as "withdrawn from use". Paramos is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Espinho, located in the District of Aveiro , belonging to the Metropolitan Area of ​​Porto in the North region
