Narrative:
While enroute to Leesburg Executive Airport (KJYO), the aircraft experienced mechanical engine failure and subsequent force landing to open field terrain southeast of Sharpsburg, North Carolina. The airplane sustained minor damage and the sole pilot onboard was not injured.
