Vickers Virginia Mk.X K2680, 214 Squadron, RAF Scampton, Lincolnshire: Involved in a fatal flying accident 21/12/36 when an officer fell out of the aircraft on approach to Brough Aerodrome, Brough, East Yorkshire:

Pilot Officer Charles Robert Hart (aged 24) killed
Squadron Leader Joseph Henry Hargroves (pilot) uninjured

Virginia Mk.X K2680 was undamaged, and survived to be finally struck off charge on 30/11/37
