Narrative:15/16-October-1944
Twelve Mosquitoes (six from each unit) were detailed, and took-off to carry out Serrate / AI patrols in support of bombers who were attacking Wilhelmshaven. All aircraft compelled their sorties.
With the exception of 239 Sqn Mossie PZ239.
Mosquito PZ239: Took off at 17:50 hrs for support of bombing attack at Wilhelmshaven. 15/10/1944
Returned early with oil pressur trouble in starboard engine. Landing Ok at 21:30 hrs.
