Yakutia Airlines flight R34441, a Boeing 737-800, suffered a tailstrike during an attempted takeoff from Neryungri Airport, Russia.
The aircraft commenced the takeoff roll from runway 26 at 12:42 hours local time (03:42 UTC). The flight crew rejected the takeoff after the tail of the aircraft contacted the runway. The airplane taxied back to the apron, where scrape damage was noticed on the bottom of the rear fuselage.
