Narrative:DeHavilland DH.85 Leopard Moth VR-SAM; First registered 13.5.35 as VR-RAE to Loke Wan Yat, Kuala Lumpur. Re-registered 31.10.35 as VR-SAM (C of R 13) to the Penang Flying Club, Penang, Straits Settlement, Malaysia.
Written off (destroyed) 13.1.36 when crashed into the sea in storm, off Teluk Kumbar, George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Pilot - Richard Cobden Stiven (aged 37) - was killed.
