ex.OE-XYA. A Robinson R22 of the Romanian Aviation Academy crashed at Strejnic Airfield, Tārgșoru Vechi, 5 km west of Ploiești, during a training flight. 2 Persons on board, no fatalities or injuries reported. According to a rough translation into English of the original Romanian newspaper report (see link #2 for the original Romanian text):

"On March 8, 2019, around 09.30, at a Strejnic aerodrome, a small Robinson 22 helicopter with YR-MDV, belonging to the Higher Civil Aviation School, was involved in an aviation event, destroying the aircraft.

They are not victims. A team of investigators from the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Authority is moving to the scene.Alongside the bodies responsible for investigating the event, an internal investigation commission of the Higher Civil Aviation School was set up to determine the causes of this event, "reads a press release issued by the Ministry of Transport. At the IGSU level no calls were registered via the 112 service related to any aviation incident in Prahova county. Based on information circulated in the press, ISU Prahova verified the situation at the Strejnic Aviation School, who informed that when a landing maneuver a helicopter touched the ground with the back. The 2 persons on board do not require medical attention. Following discussions with the Aviation School representatives, it was not necessary to engage ISU Prahova resources on the ground."
