The only airworthy Santos-Dumont 14-bis replica involved in an accident during takeoff at Bauru Airport, (BAU/SBBU), SP, while preparing for an demo in the Arraiá Aéreo Air Show, at the close of Air Demonstration Squadron (Esquadrilha da Fumaça) flight's. The only pilot on board suffered minor injuries. The aircraft was built for the commemoration of centennial of flight in October 23, 2006.

Infelizmente o 14 BIS ,se envolveu em um acidente a pouco em Bauru . Segundo relatos foi uma rajada de vento na corrida de decolagem o que levou o avião sair da pista . O piloto está bem , apenas danos matérias.https://t.co/SVCVbYcqVv pic.twitter.com/RUAEKGN3m2
