The six killed (P/O Brian Bowes-Cavanagh, pilot, - Sgt Robert S. Stuart, second pilot, - wop/air gunners Sgt Andrew Carter, and Sgt George Spindler, and gunners Sgt John W. Leason, and Sgt Ian Passy.
