Takeoff at 20:05 hrs local time for a Rover patrol (searchlight-suppression).
Probably, the aircraft was shot down by night fighter pilot Oberleutnant Egmont Prinz zur Lippe-Weissenfeld of the 5./NJG 2, who had taken off from Bergen airfield. He claimed a 'Wellington' shot down over the North Sea west of Alkmaar, Noord-Holland.

The six crew members are all missing in action.
