Narrative:The Piper Super Cub was practicing short distance landings at Casarrubios del Monte airfield, during the course of a private flight.
During the take-off, the aircraft had an abnormal contact with the runway, overturning.
The pilot was unharmed and the aircraft showed significant damage to the wings, engine, propeller, tail and fuselage.
The investigation has determined that the cause of the accident was the loss of control of the aircraft during the landing run with reduced landing distance available.
