DH.60GIII Moth Major ex 30-78 (Spanish Republican Air Force). Became EE1-78 in 1946; many, if not most, of the surviving Spanish Air Force DH.60 Moths were reserialled as EE1-** in about 1946, by merely changing the '30-' part of the serial number. Presumed struck of charge mid-1952 when sold on for civilian use.

Registered 3.9.52 as EC-AFS to Direccion General de Aviacion Civil on behalf of Real Aero Club de Espana; operated by Aero Club de Santander. Re-registered 16.10.54 to Real Aero Club de Espana. Re-registered 19.10.54 to Julio Cesar Carmona Molto.

Crashed on take-off at Cuatro Vientos Airport, Madrid, Spain 25.10.54. Registration EC-AFS cancelled 25.10.54 (same day).
