The ultralight plane crashed under unknown circumstances at Lasne, Walloon Brabant, SE of Brussels, and was destroyed by fire. The two occupants died in the crash. The incident was also reported to the US NTSB, and the following is their report:

"14 CFR Non-U.S., Non-Commercial
Accident occurred Sunday, September 13, 2020 in Lasne, Belgium
Aircraft: RANS S6, registration: 62-ALK
Injuries: 2 Fatal.

The foreign authority was the source of this information.

The government of Belgium has notified the NTSB of an accident involving a RANS S6 airplane that occurred on September 13, 2020. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the government of Belgium's investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.

All investigative information will be released by the government of Belgium".

Lasne is a municipality of Wallonia located in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant, south east of Brussels, at approximate Coordinates: 5041′N 0429′E
