Narrative:
From the shore, the helicopter began a "lift off" over a pond. During translation, a flock of birds flew in front of him. In order to avoid the birds, the pilot pulls back on the cyclic control. In power limit, the device does not mount on the contrary, it rears up and the blades of the tail rotor touch the surface of the water. The driver lost control of the aircraft yaw, he decided to ditch into the pond. The helicopter came down on the right side in one meter of water.

The passenger, a photographer, not being attached was ejected before the device is pressed against the water. He then helped the pilot escape.

Breaks in the rear transmission are due to static efforts. They most likely result of the penetration of anti-torque rotor in the water at first, and in a second time, when the final plated driver unit in the pond impact.
