Narrative:
A Cirrus SR22 GTS G3 experienced the deployment of the CAPS ballistic recovery system parachute (pull #116) and a subsequent landing to open field terrain on Mitchell Ranch, about 25 miles northeast of Lawton, Johnston County, Oklahoma.
The four people onboard were not injured and the airplane sustained substantial damage due to a left landing gear collapse.
