The reconnaissance aircraft was destroyed when on board the German cruiser Konigsberg, moored in Bergen harbour, Norway, when the ship was sunk early morning on the 10th April 1940, during a dive bombing attack by sixteen Royal Navy Skua's of 800/803 Sqn's.from RNAS Hatson (HMS Sparrowhawk), Scotland,
