At the time of landing, the aircraft made abnormal contact with runway 08, which caused the nose gear to collapse and the aircraft to slide off the right-hand side of the runway.
The aircraft suffered major damage to the nose gear and was slightly damaged in the lower nose cowling.
There was no personal injury.
