Narrative:Percival P-31 Proctor C.Mk.IV NP332, 64 Group Communictions Flight, RAF: Written off (damaged beyond repair) 11/10/1952 in a landing accident at RAF Newton, Nottinghamshire.
The Proctor made a prefect three-point landing on the grass at RAF Newton, but was subsequently found to have struck a ground marker board hidden in the long grass. The board was later discovered to have caused severe damage to the underside of the aircraft's rear fuselage.
Despite the damage, none of the crew on board were injured.
