Narrative:The aircraft crashed due to engine failure (Motorschaden) on takeoff for an operational sortie against RAF Bomber Command. The bombers raided two rail centres at Hasselt and Louvain (Leuven) and a military camp at Bourg-Leopold, all in Belgium.
