Narrative:Feindflug (operational sortie). On this night, RAF Bomber Command raided Braunschweig (Niedersachsen) & Dortmund (Nordrhein-Westfalen).
The aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff, followed by an impact fire.
Leutnant Wolfgang Henning (pilot) was killed, the Bordfunker Oberfeldwebel Reinhard Ueberschär suffered injuries.
