Narrative:
Crashed during military manoeuvres into a column of soldiers a few miles north of Karachi, on the banks of the Hub river. The pilot and observer escaped with injuries, but at least 15 soldiers were killed and 11 injured. Some were badly mutilated by the propeller.

Both crew - A.C. Abdul Salaam (observer) and Flying Officer Harish Chandra Sircar (pilot) - were injured. Later the pilot, Flying Officer H.C. Sircar, was court-martialed and dismissed from the force.
