Narrative:
While practicing interception training from Karshi-Khanabad Air Base, MiG-21R of 87 ORAP crashed near Talimarjan reservoir, 45 km SW of Krashi. Squadron Commander of 87 ORAP, Major Gennady Ivanovich Shevchenko was killed.
