Narrative: The plane veered off the runway 28 to the right. No injuries were reported. The nose and main landing gears are buried in mud, but no major damage to the plane is reported in the initial investigation.
According to the Scramble Magazine database, this P-1 was not yet delivered to one of the operational JMSDF units and was still being tested by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI). Operations of test flight was performed by JMSDF crew. JTSB launched an investigation as a serious incident on 8th Sept.
The official registration at the time of the incident is JQ5533 as a civil predelivery plane, while the expected JMSDF registration is 5533.
