A Van's RV-8 was about to land at Hyvinkää Airport (HYV/EFHV), but collided with the ground before landing at the runway.
The pilot died and the passenger was taken to hospital, according to the Central Uusimaa Rescue Department, and the aircraft sustainend substantial damage.
