Narrative:Aircraft crashed and burned some on 17-06-40, 5 miles north of Windsor NSW, at 16:10 hours. Airborne from RAAF Richmond NSW, possibly on training flight. On board were;
F/Lt James B.D. Hamilton, RAAF 3, [6 Sqn]
P/O Wallace M.N. Stewart, RAAF, [6 Sqn] (listed as Air Cadet)
The 6 Squadron operational record book states that Air Cadet Stewart was buried with full Air Force honours on 19-06-1940 (in Northern Suburbs General Cemetery). Flt Lt Hamilton was buried in Geelong Eastern Cemetery.
