Narrative:A Beech 18 on floats carrying construction workers to their job crashed during takeoff. The aircraft stalled and slammed into Newcastle Channel and exploded. The two survivors were able to crawl out of the rear door and were picked up by boat. They suffered burns on their faces and other parts of their bodies.
