Narrative:While engaged on a low level strafing mission on Kos Island, Greece, Seafire NF638 'S-Z', operating with 809 squadron from aircraft carrier 'HMS Stalker,' was hit by anti aircraft fire and crashed in flames at Linopotis, Kos, Greece killing Pilot, Sub Lt, A Perry.
During their operational deployment to the Mediterranean Sea, aircraft carriers 'HMS Attacker' and 'Stalker' took part in "Operation Outing', September and October 1944,for combat missions against German shipping and targets in the Aegean Sea area.
