On 12 March 2022, the Russian Air Force Kamov Ka-52 s/n RF-13409, code 74 red, of the 55th Separate Helicopter Regiment, was shot down by Ukrainian forces near Skadovsk, Kherson Oblast. Out of the two crew members, kapitan Andrey Lyulkin was seriously injured and the other did not survive.
