Narrative:De Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth MSN 83344; built by Morris Motors, Cowley, Oxford. Taken on charge as T7036 at 24 MU RAF Ternhill, Shtopshire 1.6.40. To 7 EFTS RAF Desford. Leicestershire 13.11.40.
Written off (destroyed) when abandoned in flight after controls jammed, and crashed at Ratcliffe Airfield, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Charnwood, Leicestershire 16.9.43. Both crew bailed out and parachuted safely to the ground. Struck off charge 28.9.43 as FACE (Flying Accident Cat.E).
