On 24 February 2022, the Ukrainian Air Force Sukhoi Su-24M, 20 white, from the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade, was shot down by Russian forces and crashed in the village of Farbovane, Boryspil Raion, Kyiv Oblast. Both crew members, mayor Mykola Savchuk and mayor Dmytro Kulikov, did not survive.
