Narrative:The pilot reported that, during the landing roll, a deer ran across the runway and struck the airplane's right side. The pilot was able to taxi the airplane to the ramp without further incident. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the fuselage aft of the nosewheel. The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
Probable Cause: The airplane's impact with a deer while landing.
