Jabiru UL-450 G-BYJD: Substantially damaged 8 August 2022 in a landing accident (runway excursion) at Carlisle Lake District Airport, Cumbria
The incident was the subject of an AAIB Correspondence-only Investigation, and the following is the summary from the AAIB Accident Report:
"After landing, and at a speed of 20-30 kt, the aircraft began to shimmy and it departed the runway onto the grass. The propeller, nose gear and wing were damaged".
