Narrative:The pilotless aircraft, an experimental Cassutt Special IIM, amateur built by Jay. D Jones, impacted slough water terrain in Castroville, Monterey County, California.
The sole pilot departed the aircraft by parachute prior to impact, receiving apparent minor injuries and the aircraft is written off.
