Missing in Action Bremen 17/4/43 with Bob Miller, Co-pilot: John Teare, Navigator: Jack Shaaber, Bombardier: Jim Shelley, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Ed Small, Radio Operator: Joe Spiro, Ball turret gunner: Bill Phillips, Waist gunner: Jesse Wade, Waist gunner: Edwin Truscott,Tail gunner: Milton Williams (10 Prisoner of War).

The aircraft was shot up by Major Fritz Losigkeit of the Stab I./JG 1 based at Deelen airfield (the Netherlands), who was flying an Fw 190A:
