de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth MSN 84682; Taken on charge as T6256 at 5 MU RAF Kemble, Gloucestershire 6.6.41. To RAF Ford Station Flight, Ford, Arundel, Sussex 31.12.41. To 6 MU RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire 6.5.45. To 8 MU RAF Little Rissington, Gloucestershire 5.2.46. To Central Flying School, RAF Little Rissington, Gloucestershire 15.8.47 coded "FDL-H". To RAF Oakington Station Flight 28.12.50. To 2 Initial Training School, RAF Kirton-in-Lindsey, Lincolnshire 6.12.51 (possibly formed from 2 Aircrew Grading School, Digby). Record card shows to 1 Grading Unit, Digby 19.6.52 (possibly clerical error). Ferried from RAF Kirton-in-Lindsey, Lincolnshire to 9 MU RAF Cosford, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire 24.3.53 for storage pending disposal.

Struck off charge when sold 4.11.53 to W A Rollason Ltd, Croydon. UK civil registered as G-APLR (C of R R6307/1) 24.3.58 to Rollason Aircraft & Engines Ltd, Croydon (project #J355). CofA issued 30.7.58. Registration G-APLR cancelled 6.8.58 as 'sold to Italy - I-JENA'. Damaged on pre-delivery test flight and returned to Croydon to be repaired. Painted black overall with deep yellow/gold registration and trim

Delivered 15 & 16.11.58 to Italy and registered as I-JENA 28.1.59 to Aertrans Srl, Rome. Re-registered 16.1.63 to Giovanni Castaldi, Rome-Urbe. Damaged at Palazzolo della Stella 23.7.66 during filming of "La Ragazza e il Generale". Rebuilt at Rome-Urbe; first reflown after rebuild 8.4.69. Re-registered 9.79 to Carlo Marchiolo, Rome; painted in RAF colours as T6256. C of A lapsed 20.6.81 Naples. Re-registered 1983 to Giovanni Perrone, Rome. Badly damaged when stalled into car storage area after take-off at Rome-Urbe 4.8.89.

To Stefano Rusconi [1990]; intended as spares for Tiger Moth I-JJOY but rebuilt instead. The rear fuselage and wings were noted at Cranfield in 1991 & 2002 (reason unknown). First reflown after rebuild 4.1.96 and re-registered 12.1.96 to Stefano Rusconi, Rome-Urbe.

Substantially damaged when crashed into sea off Lido di Venezia (Venice Lido), Venetian Lagoon, 6.7.96 during air display; The Lido, or Venice Lido, is an 11-kilometre-long barrier island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy.

Venice-Lido Airport is an aerodrome located 1.9 nautical miles east of Venice, a city in the Veneto region in Italy. It is situated on the north end of the island of Lido di Venezia. It is also known as Giovanni Nicelli Airport, after Sgt. Giovanni Nicelli (born 1893), an ace of the Italian Air Force, and was formerly known as Venice-San Nicolò Airport.

Airframe salvaged for rebuild. Registration I-JENA cancelled 2004. On rebuild at La Celsetta (5.2007-2010) by Rusty Angels/Italian Flying Museum.
