A Beechcraft A36 Bonanza crashed into a lagoon in Poti Velho, Teresina, Piauí, as a result of an engine failure.
Both occupants sustained minor injuries and the aircraft received substantial damage.
The aircraft had departed Redenção Airfield (SNDC) at around 10:05 UTC, bound for Teresina-Nossa Senhora de Fátima Airfield (SIPW).
En route, the crew changed their destination to Teresina-Senador Petrônio Portela Airport, PI (THE/SBTE).
On the final approach, the aircraft had an engine failure and the pilot made an emergency landing.
