Narrative: On July 16, 2023, at about 1540 local time, a Cessna 441 Conquest II-10, N17TJ, landed hard and bounced eight times at Nelson Airport (CZNL), Nelson, British Columbia. There were no injuries. The flight originated from Vernon Regional Airport (YVE), British Columbia.
The nosewheel suffered a shimmy till the end of the rollout, and there was visible damage to the right engine prop tips. It appears the airplane landed with a significant tailwind. The occupants departed CZNL, and flew to Lethbridge Airport (YQL), Alberta, about three hours later, despite the fact that the airplane was damaged.
