Narrative:The Cessna 152 was on a visual flight rules training flight from Montreal/St-Hubert Airport, QC (CYHU) with 1 student pilot on board.
While the aircraft was approximately 3 nautical miles north of CYHU in level flight at 1100 feet above sea level (ASL), the engine (Lycoming O-235-L2C) ran out of oil and stopped abruptly. The aircraft was forced to land alongside Highway 20 and tumbled into the ditch. The student pilot was uninjured, but the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
