Narrative:
A Pelegrin Tarragon crashed shortly after takeoff from Beteta Airfield in Beteta, Cuenca. One occupant died in the crash, another was seriously injured and the ultralight was destroyed.

The aircraft took off from the Beteta forestry runway, which is an old forest firefighting facility that has been in disuse for several years.
After takeoff, the aircraft crashed into the ground in a wooded area covered with pine trees. The impact occurred in an area located approximately 250 m from the end of runway 14 at the Beteta airstrip.
