THE PILOT'S LANDING APPROACH WAS TOO SLOW, RESULTING IN A STALL. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED IN A SMALL GRAIN FIELD JUST SHORT OF THE RUNWAY BEFORE NOSING OVER.

Probable Cause: THE PILOT IN COMMAND'S FAILURE TO ATTAIN A PROPER TOUCHDOWN POINT.
