Narrative:SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF, THE ENGINE EXPERIENCED A TOTAL LOSS OF POWER FOR UNKNOWN REASONS. THE INSTRUCTOR PILOT ATTEMPTED TO RETURN TO THE AIRPORT. THE AIRPLANE COLLIDED WITH TERRAIN DURING THE MANEUVER.
