Narrative:THE NINETEEN-HOUR STUDENT PILOT WAS PRACTICING TOUCH-AND-GOS WHEN THE AIRPLANE BALLOONED AND RETURNED TO THE RUNWAY NOSEDOWN. THE NOSEGEAR COLLAPSED AND THE PLANE SLID ALONG THE RUNWAY.
Probable Cause: THE STUDENT PILOT'S IMPROPER LANDING FLARE.
