Probable Cause: THE PLT BECAME LOST/DISORIENTED AND ALLOWED FUEL EXHAUSTION TO OCCUR BEFORE ACCOMPLISHING REMEDIAL ACTION. FACTORS RELATED TO THE ACCIDENT WERE: THE ADVERSE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND THE ROAD SIGN AND VEHICLES IN THE EMERGENCY LANDING AREA.
