INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE ARM BETWEEN THE ELEVATOR AND THE BELL CRANK WAS BROKEN. FURTHER INVESTIGATION INDICATED THERE HAD BEEN WATER INSIDE THE ARM WHICH HAD RUSTED THROUGH TO THE OUTSIDE.
