DURING HELICOPTER AERIAL APPLICATION, ENGINE POWER WAS LOST. PLT APPLIED BACK CYCLIC AND TAIL ROTOR CONTACTED TERRAIN, FOLLOWED BY HARD LANDING. INVESTIGATION REVEALED LESS THAN USEABLE FUEL REMAINING.
