Narrative:AFTER RUNNING A FUEL TANK DRY IN FLIGHT, THE PLT SWITCHED FUEL TANKS BUT FAILED TO ASSURE THAT THE FUEL SELECTOR WAS IN THE DETENT. THE ENGINE QUIT RUNNING AND A FORCED LANDING WAS MADE IN ROUGH TERRAIN.
