Narrative:THE STUDENT PILOT WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS IN PREPARATION FOR A SOLO CROSS COUNTRY. THE PILOT WAS COMPENSATING FOR A CROSSWIND WHEN HE LANDED THE AIRCRAFT ON ITS NOSE RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
